Long day

So, Wyatt has been just a bear all day. I kept checking his temperature, and it was normal. Normal until after 5 when the DRs office closes! I think he was just waiting. So, my husband and I pack up the diaper bag and head 35 miles south to the closest urgent care. It was a waste of time and money. All the DR said was it was a virus and to drink plenty of fluids. I am thankful that we went because assurance that your child is going to be okay is much better than hoping he is okay.
I did find out that my lil chunky monkey weighs about 14 pounds. He wouldn't hold still long enough for the scale to get an acurate reading though. It took the nurse 5 minutes to get the BP machine to get an accurate reading he was so wiggly! He screamed the entire way home though. I finally got him to sleep aftertrying for an hour! Poor sick lil baby. Doesn't help either he is teething!

Travis finished his first week of radiation today. 4 days down, 13 to go. He feels so yucky in the evenings when he gets home. I feel bad for him but there isn't anything I can do. He hasn't been able to hold Wyatt since the therapy started because he feels dizzy all the time and he is afraid of dropping him.

Got our W2s for last year. So we will be heading up to Tulsa for V-day weekend to my grandparents to do taxes. Woo so exciting lol! That way we can also get my grandma to babysit while we have a date.
We have only had 1 date since Wywy was born. A second one is quite needed, especially right now! We never have anytime together alone because as soon as Trav gets home, he lays down until dinner. Eats, showers, and goes to bed. We can't wait for radiation to be over with!!

"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:15-16
